One of Michigan’s largest non-profit human service organizations, Matrix Human Services,
celebrated their 100 year legacy on October 13th, 2006 at the
historic Detroit Opera House. The 100 Year Anniversary Gala and Strolling
Supper was followed by “An Inspirational Evening with Dr. Maya Angelou”. Detroit’s own Mosaic Singers
also performed at this milestone celebration.
Evening Highlights:

- Dr. Angelou, a best selling author, poet, educator, historian, civil rights activist, producer &
director shared with the audience her legendary wisdom.

Entertainment
provided by Detroit's own Mosaic Singers.
- The
Matrix Car Raffle drawing
was held and the winner is Mr. George McCann who had the lucky
ticket and walked away with a new 2007 Cadillac Escalade for
$100.00!
